This BCS 740 PowerSafe two-wheel tractor uses a Briggs & Stratton XR2100 petrol engine, a mechanical transmission with three forward and three reverse gears, and a quick direction reverser.

The hydraulically operated PowerSafe oil-bath clutch provides progressive engagement. The independent PTO and reversible, adjustable handlebars allow the use of suitable front- or rear-mounted implements.
